importing surfaces

Is there a way, and if so , how do you import an STL surface and wrap it on to another surface/feature in a model? I can do it easily with a flat surface in an assembly file. I have an ornate organic surface in the form of an STL file I

You would have to convert the stl file from a polymesh surface to a nurb surface so Pro/E can recognize it.


You could convert it in Rhino Surfacer or if you have Restyle in Pro/E you should be able to handle it with that.
