I do not recall ever seeing or hearing about being able to do that. I dont think it is possible because all of the report parameters are specifying instance (fam.inst.name, fam.inst.param.name, fam.inst.param.value) If you want it to appear just insert another instance to be a represenative of the generic, all of the values will default to * which means the will be the same as the generic
