Hi folks,

Ineed to show a C of G on a drawing which has been defined from the analysis which has been done in the model?

Can i add datums to the model which automatically choose the analysis results?

You can define a point at the CG. You can also define a co-ordinate system that will latch on to an analysis feature. I think you need behavioral modeling (BMX) to do that. I am not sure in WF3 and 4.

Srinivasaniyer1,

I did think you need the BMX to do that because when you press the add feature button, it states that we do not have part of Pro-e. Oh well time for the dimensins to be added manually i think.

Thanks for comfirming my thoughts.

hi,

go to>insert analysis>modelanalysis>next>compute>close

two options are there 1)Result params 2)result datums

result datums>csys_cog>create>yes

you can c the model CG.

also ref image

otherwise

save the analysis with active result params,

make a new ref-system

relate the new ref-system with the old one by relations and

params(those derived frm analysis result)

try out..

If you don't have BMX I can send you a UDF that will automatically place the COG co-ordinate system and datum point. Make sure it is always the last feature.
