Insert Object function

Working in WF 2


In drawing mode there is an function to Insert>>Object>>


then the options are Create New or Create from File


I understand how to insert an MS Excel Table or Chart or a pdf but when I print the drawing these items aren't on the hard copy. (They show up on screen)


Also, when I sert a jpeg file I just get the text "filename.jpg" on the screen, not the image itself.


Am I missing a config option to fix this?


Should I upgrade wto WF4 to fix this?


Am I just out of luck?

It works fine for me i am not finding any problem i my system

hope that will be somthing to do with the printer or printer setting



When you told this i got another doubt

after creating an exell sheet in a drawing sheet of BOM can we link the BOM to this so that we can get a out put in Exell sheet

Take a look at TPI 129319


We had problems and it has to do with Microsoft Office 2003 no longer using a OLE server. I've been converting everything to .BMP files because they aren't handled the same way as JPEGs. I'm just a user so I don't understand it all. but BMP and PDFs insert for me.
