insert part in assembly

New member
When I am working on a large assembly and I insert a small component (i.e. a bolt) It sometimes gets inserted in the assembly where I cannot find it anymore... For example inside another part...

Is it possible when inserting a part, the part automatically "sticks" to the cursor, like you've selected it to drag it ?.... This way your component is always visible and you can place it directly close to where you'd like it to be....

Regards,
Sander.

I have had the same problem on occasions too, sticking to the cursor would be a good way of solving it. In the past I have had to find things by Dragging around until i see them.

You can also hide great chunks of your assembly to make things easier to see and to avoid picking the wrong assembly references.
