I had the same problem. I ended up opening my bitmap in paint, edit>select all> copy, in proe, in the drawing: insert>object>bitmap. This puts a blak bitmap in the drawing. right-click>edit>paste. this insertts the clipboard contents into the bitmap. poking around with the size, you should be able to get what you want.
The correct way to bring a "bitmap" image into a Pro/e drawing is, on the top toolbar, select "Insert", then "object. When thepop-up window opens, pick "bitmap image", then check the "select from file" button, and browse to your file, and pick "OK". After it comes in, you can move it, resize it by grabbing the corners. Have fun !!
well Pro\e does not handle raster image in drawing while printing. So if You want to have sure it will be printed You should change this image to the vector format. However this is not a solution for complex picture because there is no software wich could convert raster to vector nicely
Another way I think is to make postscript first and than print it.
