I'm relativeley new to surface modeling. I have some geomerty that I used in alot of different parts. Is there a way I can bring in either the sketch or part into a partfile that I'm already working on?
Absolutely. If the geomtry is a sketch, then you can simply copy paste with CTRL-C/CTRL-V or using the Edit pull-down menu. It will put in in a default orientation, but just edit the sketch plane and put it where it needs to go.
If it is a sold part, you can insert a part into another part (believe it or not) using the menu selection: Insert>Part... with the new part already open
What kind of geometry is being repeated here? 2D? 3D?
