I have a problem with making an equation relation between two parts.
I have a part that is a configuration from a design table. It is a pipe template.
One of the configurations was used as the background for a part. [I don

Hi

Could you be more precise. I don't understand very well. It is about the relation between two parts in an assembly or the relations between two configuration of the same part.
I think you can use the excel to create relation between dimensions
In assemblies you can create equations between dimensions of the different parts. Also you can define a global value in assembly ex. gval=dim on onepart+dim on the other part. That gval youcan use it defining a configuration specific prop than use it in assem. design table.
I'm not sure that is what you want

If you change the configuration or diameter of part B, then you want Part Ato update.

You might try an in-context feature (resulting in external reference) where you use "convert" in the sketch tools to take the diameter of Part B, then use an equation to create the hole in Part A.
