Intralink 8 Numbering and Revisions

Is there anyone now using Intralink 8/PDM Link that can answer a couple of administration questions please.

1. Automatic numbering sequences: How can I set this at the organization level so that auto-numbering is switched off (ie enable manual numbering). It would be great if you could supply me with the syntax that needs to be inside the rule xml file

2. What has happened to the revision object attribute from Intralink 3.x? We have set the version attribute to numeric ok but where is the revision attribute located now? Do you have to create an attribute of your own or am I just not looking in the right places.

Thanking you in advance

In the using the reference document Using Wildfire with Windchill available from PTC's website gives a great explanation on the differences between Intralink 3.x Revision and Version and what it has become in PDMLink.

In short in Intralink 3.x you had an object with Revision.Version i.e. B.15

In PDMLink you have an object with a Version (C.8) that is comprised of a Revision (C) and an Iteration (8)
