Is there an option to turn ’ok’ 4 a save?

Anyone know of an option that allows one to save by simply clicking the save icon instead save icon--> OK? Just another one of the 10^9 extra clicks of Pro/E!

Jelston,

All you have to do is middle mouse button (MMB) click (anywhere in the screen)after pressing the save icon. This will be the exact same thing as pressing ok.

You can also do like dr.gallup said. Firstyou assign the mapkey the icon used for the save button. Then remove the save icon from your toolbar and replace it with the mapkey save. No one will ever know that they are selecting the mapkey instead of the save.

I appreciate the answers. This is probably what i will have to do, but i have been using CTRL + S to save and was hoping i could cut out a step.

I have made a mapkey.

mapkey sa @MAPKEY_LABEL Save File;\

mapkey(continued) ~ Select `main_dlg_cur` `MenuBar1`1 `File`;\

mapkey(continued) ~ Close `main_dlg_cur` `MenuBar1`;~ Activate `main_dlg_cur` `File.psh_save`;\

mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `file_saveas` `OK`;;

I know what you mean by mouse clicks. Arthritic finger joints here we all come!!

On your mapkey make sure that you spec the short cut key as "s". So you'll even be cutting out Ctrl. I have a logitech mouse with 2 side buttons, I have one of those assigned to the s button so I can do my save on the mouse. I also have one mapped on my spaceball.
