We are using Windchill 8.0. When I look at allthe interations of a file I can see a box titled iteration comments. How do I enter comments in that box?
You should be able to add comments to a file, by performing an update on the file. I assume you are talking about any file other than a CAD file, for a CAD file I believe you have to enter the comments on the file upon check-in.
It is currently only possible to add an iteration comment for WTPart or WTDocuments upon checkin. I would like this on CAD documents as well, andhave submitted an enhancement request to PTC about half a year ago, but haven't heard if they will implement this option in future releases.
