joint modeled in solidworks surfacing

Here is one model I have been working on. In Pro/E I have the ability to sketch a curve on surface with ISDX and to create a joint that is a five part or n-agon surface reqires trimming the surface back some. So to push myself I wanted to create the joint in SW just like in Pro/E or Alias. Learned a lot and I now have more amunition for my next solidworks surfacing class.

I figured all that stuff out... Except we deleted the one license we have. ;) so I can't help you exactly.

The COS option in Solidworks is almost as powerful as the ISDX big brother. I don't recall exactly where the command is but if hunt for it its there.

It may take a while to get some powerful users on this side of the fence before this board is hopping. On another board I got many of my hi-end surfacing questions answered for sw from the hi-end proe users who do both. I thought that was interesting. productdesignforums.com Say hi to me there.... I have been pointing them over here too so I hope it's not politically incorrect or socially unacceptable to talk about other boards.
