When we select a layer and isolate that, the pro/e window will show only thoses items that belong to these layers .e.g. Turn all all layers so that u can see all planes, axis, etc... select the planes layers and do isolate layers. After this you can only see the planes and not any other details even though the other layers are not hidden.
