loft between 2d sketch and 3d sketchj

I have two sketches, one is a simple 2d sketch and the other one is a more complex 3d. When I make a loft between them with two straight guides, I get an error message
 
Your 3d sketch & 2d sketchplanes should beparallel then only loft is created in solid form.


If u made surface loft between these 2 sketches, then use [Insert - Boss/Base - Thicken] command to make it solid.
