Loft help.

I need help creating a loft, I don't know how to capture a screenshot so I will try to explain as best I can.

I am modelling an aircraft fuselage using cross-sections. I can create the actual fuselage, the problem arises with the tail. The last section in the loft is a cross section of the tail. I need to know, how do I finish the loft, or close it off if you know what I mean? If I finish the loft as it is the tail will just be cut off at the end, what do I do?

I managed to get an image by rendering the plane to a file. The shaded region shows where the tail should be, ho do I create this shape?

Hi,

I assume you are want to make the rudder and fuselage in a single piece, then you can simply loft from your currentend cross section to the red line you have drawn in the pic above.Adda guide lineto control the surface.

Cheers

I have not figured out how to make this in one sweep as SW apparently will not allow the profile to interfere with itself when following the path(s).

For your rudder you can make a profile of the rudder cross ection at the ends and sweep 90 to get the 'ends' then extrude between them to make the final part.
