What you will need to do is to go to the {loadpoint}\text\hole directory (or wherever your hole tables are stored), and open the ISO.hol file in a spreadsheet program (eg Excel) as a space-separated file - make a copy of the file before doing any modifications.
Input the data in a similar formatto the data already there.
FASTENER_ID is what appears in the drop-down box in the hole tool (in your case M30x1)
BASIC_DIAM is the outer diameter of the thread (30)
THREAD is the pitch (1)
TAP_DR & TAP_DEC are the tapping drills (both should be the same for the metric threads - you will need to look this up)
PERCENT_THREAD is used to give the basic thread to hole depth ratio for the default hole (use 65% as the rest)
The values for the other parameters you can copy from the other M30 thread details.
Save the file & you can use your new thread next time you start Wildfire.
I've ammended the .hol file, as per your reply, but I cant get the tapped hole to only be 8mm deep, it looks like it has to 69.9mm deep or greater. Any suggestions on how I can get this internal thread to be 8mm deep ?
You need to go into the shape menu on the dashboard when creating the hole. You can then set the thread depth to 8mm, and afterwards you can set the hole depth to anything up to 8mm.
