MAG WHEEL HOLES

Can anyone help me with making the holes in a mag wheel. I know about patterning holes when they are radially placed, but how do I pattern with a hole that is sketched?

I am using Pro-E Wildfire.

Thanks

"how do I pattern with a hole that is sketched"

your question is not clear. if its a hole feature (sketched hole ) then it should be patterned using axis pattern in WF 2.0 and make datum then pattern in WF 1.0.

If your hole is part of the sketch of mag Wheel the its not actually a hole by definition.

You are correct. Let me restate that.

It is not technically a hole. The holes that I had made for the wheel studs are holes. I want to make a 5 spoke mag. I am trying to make the cutouts thatare in between the spokes.

This is a copy of the Pro-E file and a picture telling what is needed.

Thanks for any help.

Hi
See this link, there is a complete tutorial how to create radial pattern in wildfire (in this thread it is extrude, but the method is the same for cutting).

Try to search forum first for common problems like this one, then you post your question if you don't find it posted before.

Hope it helps
