making a "wavedisc"

I would like to make something like a wavespring washer except that
instead of it being a ring/washer, what I want is a disc that goes from
being flat in the center to being wavy on the outside.

In other words, I would like to make a disc that basically morphs into
having a wavespring washer shape going from no wave to full wave along
the distance from center to outer edge radially.

Drawing it is beyond my artistic skills. I'm hoping someone can visualize
it based on my description, and then give me advice on how to model it.

, even ifit shows the old style Variable section sweep. It should be updated since some of the sweep options have changed name.... like Pivot dir. But, the link can give you some good tip tho...
