MAKING DIMS, RADIUS OR DIA

nitan

New member
When I want to pick a diameter in a drawing it always says radius. How can I change the output to dia on a hole, and keep radius on a rad?

I am using Pro-E Wildfire

Thanks

If you want a "diameter" dimension on the drawing, you have to create it that way in the sketch. Create the dimension by picking the edge of the hole, then the axis, then the edge again, and place the dimension. Now in the drawing it will show as a diameter, not a radius.

Does it work the same when I create the hole with the hole tool, since that specifies in dia of the hole?

While in drawing to "create" a dia dimension pick
insert, dmension new references, then double click on hole or radius
feature. Otherwise as mentioned above create dim in sketch and "show"
dimension in drawing.
