Making Pattern Dependent on Parameters???

I'm trying to make an Axis pattern dependent on a Parameters value. I'd like to create two parameters one that controls the pattern angle and one that control the number of copies generated. I know how to make the pattern angle dependent on a parameter, but I can't figure out how to make the number of copies dependent. How do I locate the designation for the number of copies? Thanks in advance.

After creating the pattern edit the pattern it will show all the dimensions including no. of patterns then go to info switch dimensions there you can get id for the no.of patterns like "pxxx" equate this id to your parameter

No need to switch dims back and forth.

Once the pattern parameter is shown, just hover the pointer over it and lookat the status line at the bottom left of the window. It will list the symbol name.
