mapkey help

Hey all,

I am trying to create a mapkey to edit some sketches. I am selecting the sketches using the search (find) command. Now, I need to be able to edit (not edit definition) a sketch using a drop down list. I can't do this using right click edit.

Thanks in advance!

i don't think you are going to be able to mapkey a certain sketch to edit... but you can ctrl-a then you can have all selected...

find>sketch>solid geom> will fill the left box.. and that point the mapkey could end and you could grab just one..

Thank for responding William,

Let me explain a little bit more on my problem. I have been using the find (search) tool, but I run into trouble when the sketch is selected. Once selected I need to be able right click edit without using the right click.

When I created the mapkey Iwas doing it for the max amount of sketches. Sometimes the user may not want the max. If he/she wants less they just enter the amout they want and proprogram will suppress the unwanted sketches. Once the mapkey gets to the sketch that is suppressed (that when the mapkey was created wasn't suppressed) It will bring up an error because the edit is no longer availible in the right click menu. So I want to see if I can edit (again not edit defenition)a sketchusing a menu.
