Hi dear Pro/e users!

Can anybody tell me the procedures on how to create the same part as below using merge feature.

Part is merge from assy and been saved as one part. Even some of my pro/e colleague users don't know how to figure this out.

Kindly help.

PART
- merge id ##1
- merge id ##2

Your image is knackered by the way.

Im not at my pc with pro-e right now, but maybe your after this ?

When in an assy, go to Edit \ Component Operations. There is a merge function in there I believe. You cannot merge packaged components.

1. open the file : merge id ##1

2. go to menu INSERT-SHARED DATA-Merge from other model

load the second one...

and after you will have to specify constrains exactly like in assy.......

note : the accuracy has to be same

I want to do the same but for a group of parts in an assembly so to run an FEA on the model instead of running an fea on the assembly.
