Hi all,

I have a problem with my analysis. I'm trying create static analysis, when I use midsurface and perimeter weld in assembly (profile - 1 and plate - 2) . I use midsurface to shortening analysis time, but I have problem between parts. My parts intersects (interferents). What kind of connection should I use (between my parts) to prepare my model to analysis?

I'm attaching few screens with my problems.

thanks in advance
michal

and here is one screen with parts created as shell. Here everything is OK. I'm intresting what is the reason in midsurface?

thanks for any suggestion.

In Wildfire2 you should not need to add any welds.
AutoGEM adds the links itself.
I just tried this situation wit5h two sheetmetal parts and it worked perfect

Good luck!
