I have generic components that have multiple instances. I would like to mirror the generic and have the new component created maintain the family table from the original. Everything I have tried mirrors and creates an instance without a family table. Is there any way to do this?
I got distracted before I could add a little more info. The components to be modelled andmirrored are assemblies and these also contain assy cut-outs.
Think of an assy made ofmetal parts that are driven by family tables and then are overmolded to create the final assembly. There will now be a model of themetal parts (with family tables), model of the overmolds with just the plastic (also with family tables), and then the final assembly of the metal and plastic parts. Thisassembly then needs to be mirrored so we have left and right hand parts. The family tables need to be retained so that all the optional configurations (instances) are availble in the mirrored assembly.
We are using WF4
Thanks;
