Mirror not available within assembly

For some reason, the mirror command is not available when I select a part within an assembly. I can mirror a whole part from within the part using the file menu, but it I don't seem to have the option to mirror a part's geometry and position within an assembly.

I'm sure this is in the category of bleedin' obvious, but some help would be appreciated.

Apologies for wasting peoples time. I was just looking for the mirror part option when you create a part within an assembly.

You need to use a "create" menuin assembly.
