Mirror Reference Part

I've made an exact mirrored part with the name "2008001-1001" of a reference part with the name "2008001-1000".

I've done this withe the feature "Mirror part" in WF3.

But now my question is: is there a possibility to create a model parameter in the mirrored part which is automaticaly filled in with the reference part name?

In the program of the mirrored part I've found the reference part name. But I don't know how I can get this name into a parameter. It would be great if I could get this name into a parameter, so then I can place this parameter at my drawing of the mirrored part.

Thanks in advance

You can create a note with the value &model_name. Create a parameter, set it to note, and set the note number.

Hi Kdem,

what do you mean with "set it to note"?
I just want to make a parameter into the mirrored part where the name of the reference part automatically is filled in. I don't want to make a parameter with the name of the mirrored part self. Is this possible?

Kind regards

I misunderstood what you wanted. You're going to have to create a parameter and insert the name manually. When you create a note or annotation in a modelandthen add a parameter to the list note will appear in the Type column as a selection.
