mirrored sketch lines not hiding

scottm

New member
If I have a component that uses two intersecting sketch curves (i.e. a 3D tube), the 2 curves used for the intersection are automatically hidden.

That's fine.

If I mirror that part - the curves become unhidden and it seems impossible to hide them (as the feature tree for the part is just comprised of a MIRROR feature).

This makes detailing a pain and looks stupid. Any tips?

Thanks - Scott

I opened a call with this last year on WF 2.0.. Not a pressing issue with them, answer was throw them on a layer.

You could try mirroring just the surfaces and then solidifying. Then you will not get the curves, datums, etc.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I solved it by exporting the drawing to DXF and deleting the lines. Not very elegant, but it did the job.
