Missing component in Exploded View

I have an explodedassy that I modified...swappeda screw from a family table. I went back to my drawing and the new screw is not visible in my exploded view. I tried repaint, regen view-no change. I also made my view display wireframe to see if the screw was embedded in another item at a default explode location, but I didn't see it anywhere. I switch back to my assy and the screw is definitely visible. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

I'm on WildFire 2.0 and IntraLink 3.3

Thanks!

If the screw is a completely different part, I think you need toposition itcorrectlyin your exploded view in the assemble. Then, save the veiw by using view manager in the model (either a new view or update). Finally, go to the drawing and change the exploded view to the new saved view.

You said you tried repaint and regen, but did you try View\Update\All Sheets?

If not, give that a try.

Is there an interference with the new fastener?

If so, solve it and you will see that the component is back on the drawing.

I have had the same problem, my drawing would not update properly.
Did you have the drawing and assembly open at the same time? If not try opening
the drawing and assembly having them open at the same time and change something to make
the drawing do an update. For some reason Pro/E will not update a drawing properly
if the drawing is not open at the same time as you are doing an update. I hope
this helps you out.
