Model area default size

Deafult size of model area in pro/e (if we push buttondefault orientation) is abaout 20 % empty space on each side of the screen. In center areathere is model.


Is there any variable in config.pro or somewere else to define that model should be zoomed in with no empty area on sides? Straight from the edge of the screen no empty space betwen the edge of the model area and the model it self?...

There is no config setting that I know of to make this happen.


Try changing your start part template for all future parts. For parts already created you will have to change each of them individually, a mapkey would be pretty easy to create.


Redefine the Default Orientation: View Manager> Select "Default Orientation"> Edit> Redefine> Zoom in the part to desired position> OK> Save.


Getting all models (assuming they are unique in shape) to fit in the window with the same space on each side will be difficult though.
