Hi all,


Can I configure model check to ensure model parameters have been filled in? Any guidence on how to achieve this. Do you configure model check within proe?

Yes, you can set up rules to check for a value assigned to a parameter. That assumes that the parameter has the same value in all of your parts. What I did was set a value in our template parts and then checked that the parameter was not my default value.


ModelCheck can be set up from with Pro/E or by just editing the files that it uses for the rules.

Which part do you need help with? In your start parts,you set the parameter to a known value that would never exist in a real part. In ModelCheck, you do a parameter check for the value of the parametr NOT being set to your know value.
