Model of a person

If you have WF4 M060 and your maintenance is up to date then you will have Manikin LIGHT.
Very Cool.

This model is not downloaded, it is part of the Maniken Light extension which comes with the latest version of WF4. If you have maintenance, its free on the PTC website.

I am having trouble getting Manikin Light to run. In help it tells me to set the PTC_MANIKIN_MODEL and PTC_MANIKIN_LIBRARY_PATHCONFIGURATION options to "yes", neither of which are valid options. I am running M070.

Thanks for any help!

If you are running M070 it should work on default without any settings having to be set.
Just to be sure are you using WF4.
Also you will have to retrieve a new license file, if you are on maintenance manikin will be automatically added to your licenses.
Just make sure that you also select the licenses to be used in the setup.
The manikin will only be available in an assembly.
So if you create a new assembly you will see that there is a new icon to add a manikin.

I've just installed Wildfire 4 M070 and had a play with the Manikin Lite functionality. I understood I would not be able to save the manikin, but I can't even save my original parts or assemblies without the manikin. Even if I erase not displayed models I get the message:

"This operation is unavailable because a Pro/ENGINEER Manikin model has been in session without a Pro/ENGINEER Manikin License."

Am I missing something? This seems ridiculous.

I have received the same messages. The Manikin Lite extension seems to be pretty worthless if this is in fact the full extent of its functionality...

It is not just the fact that its worthless, its that it bites a chunk off whatever you've been doing since you last saved.
