Model tree icon symbols

Does anyone know where I can obtain the identification of the model tree icons?

For example the single box and the double box that would be to the left of the part within the model tree in an assembly. I know one of them is showing that a part is not contrained.

Grateful for any help.

Not sure where to find it, but a single box means a part is not fully constrained (as you noted), and a double box means you've constrained something to a component that is not fully constrained.

Time to be pedantic...... (ie I'm sorry for being a pain the rear end

The correct (PTC) term for 'a part that is not fully constrained ' is 'packaged' and this has the single WHITE box with a black outline. A double box is for a part that is referenced to a part that has become packaged (ie you cannot assemble a part to a packaged part)

Others that I know of are

Green Star - Part has been 'activated' to allow modification
(Note to all new users - USE THIS FUNCTION, IT WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME)

Full Black Box - Part is suppressed

That's all I can think of at the moment (I know there are others but they don't come to mind at the moment

You can assemble to a packaged item. If you partially constrainthe 2nd item to the packaged item (leaving it packaged), you get a single box for it as well. But if you fully constrain the 2nd item but one of the constraints is to the first packaged item, you get the double box.

Old thread, but I thought I would point out that the icons are called glyphs in WildFire. If you serch for "glyphs" in the Help Files, you will find a handy legend.
