Modeling

Hi,

Can anyone show me how to create a bolt circle centerline that I can actually snap a dimension from?

Mark,

Are you trying to show the PCD a diameter, if so show/erase the model dims. If not could you be a little bit more specific

If you make a radial pattern you get theboltcirclefor free. It shows when you use show and erasefor axis on the drawing. This will also have individual bolt hole centerlines angled to the center. If you choose to make a datum curve in the model (make it driven through the axis of the holes don't enter a dimension for it.) you will need to manually change the angle of the individual bolt hole centerlines as they will show horizontal and vertical.

Good luck
