Modelling Practises?

Hi Guys!!!!
I would like to know the best practises in Pro/E while modelling a part
eg. Where to sketch a new feature on to Datum plane or on surface of existing feature and whether to use UseEdge option instead of sketching and types of references to use etc. etc.....
