I'm so confused with Move option. I only know about Copy_Move

Any help'd be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Now I am confused after you have posted this question. Is there a move operation??. I can only recollect one move option which is in feature operation(that is copy move option). Can you be a bit specific on its location in proe?.

I think foolmankh is refering to the feature name in model tree.

Copy move feature is created using the copy and then paste special. you
are able to choose the option of translation and/or rotation on the
paste special dashboard.

hi foolmankh,

feat ID 12186 is a copy > paste special feature.

It is created by selecting the geometry (surface),

click edit>copy, then

edit>paste special

pick rotation,

pick rotation axis,

key in the rotation angle

in the option, hide original geometry

Hi,

Proengineertips is right it is an option of paste special.well the difference is:

The first option is when you are trying to go for a paste special of a feature

and the second option is when you are going for a paste special of a geometry like quilts.

And not only you I guess there is no one who knows how to convert a WF3 model to WF2(Feature based) as it is not possible.

Deepak Bhat

Thank you so much,
