Moving Dashboard Position in Wildfire 5

Hey all:


I just got the Wildfire 5 student edition from the ptc store... In setting it up and customizing it, I noticed that you cannot move the dashboard position to below the screen (Like you can in WF4). The option is not there in Tools-Customize Screen-Options.


Does anyone know why PTC took this out in WF5?? Or is it just in the student edition?? I tried to look it up on PTC support, and there is an SPR on it (SPR: 1860667), but it is not customer viewable.

The reason given is theyhave changed their workflow to incorporate the ribbon interface in drawing mode. We'll have to wait and see but they 've said it will also be incorporated into part mode. You can still move the model tree.

That's what I was afraid of... I guess they know whats best for us!!

PTC and Steve Jobs. here is our product, you will use it the way we think you should, and you will like it. if you think you want to use it a different way, well, you're wrong.
