Moving dimensions

Hi all

I got one question.

Lets say i am having A.asm, inside which i got B.prt.

I placed the view of A.asm in the drawing and dimension it.

Now i want to all the dimensions on the part, not the assembly.

I dont want to redo all the dimension also, as the profile is same for both the part and assembly.

Any thoughts!!

Hi guys

Today i moved dimension from one part to another (both having same profile, the only difference is the holes position).

How its possible,

why cant it be possible from part --> Assembly.

Thanks for ur reply !!

You can not move dims made from one part to another part. When you create the dims in drawing, pro uses the id of the feature in creation. That id is only in that part. You can only move dims if you create another view from the same part.
