Guys,

For some mysterious reason CTRL + part selection + Right Mouse Click + Edit Parameters for common parameter edit stoped working. Pro/E doesn't respones at all.

I have been changing my config.pro, however I did not change anything related to multiple part parmameterif such exists at all?

I tried loading different config.pro from guys that reported no such problems and it still doesn't fix it. I rebooted my machine few times, with no success.

Yes, and when I do use Tools->Parameters it opens the GUI with top level assembly parameters.

It is pretty annoying especially when you need to change a lot param. in one shot outside of Intralink.

ok, what if you select the model/part from the model tree, then activate it then try tools parameters, this should let you acess the parameters for the active model.

If what you are trying to do is modify parameter values from assembly level into 'multiple' part level, you may need to write a relation in the assembly to 'map' the values of an assembly parameter into the sub assembly/part parameter.

Alternatively a skeleton could be used to communicate the common parameters but the principle is the same as above.(if the intent is to drive the parts from the assembly, then the relationships have to be created in the assembly)

Cheers

OK,

Let me back track a little bit...

As of last week and many months before I was using it without any issues. Today for some reason only on my machine it doesn't work, we have 14 WS here and on each it works fine except mine.

Now, when I try to select multiple parts in assembly there is no activate option in the RClick menu ??? so I cannot do as you propose :(((

When there's no Activate option on the RMB menu, tho objects in Intralink are usually locked.

Or there's another model (sub-assembly or part in the sub-assembly) activated.
