hi to all, im a new memeber here, ive joined the gang hehe, i would like to stait how pleased i was by coming across a pro e forum..theres so many maya and studio max forums however it wouldnt be complete without a pro e forum ;)

ive been using pro e for the last 1 and half years, i actually enjoy and appreciate it much, im a second year student at university doing Computer aided engineering design, and we all love pro e, even tho were taught solid works, we still prefer pro-e

i been searching differnt software packaegs i.e studio max etc which will allow me to model a car, its a totally difefrnt manner and atmosphere, by placing planes and then assigning images and tehn modeling hoewever i didnt get far with it, so i came back to pro - e

i been trying to find a tutorial or a step by step guide or even a video that will show how i can model a car on pro e, so i was wondering if theres any fellow members taht can guide and assisst me

i know how to use the extrude, revolve funsctions, i havent learnt any advanced functions like boundry blend etc so is there any method of geting some training pls

regards

Rahman Alam

Welcome to the forum!

You will need to find some surfacing tutorials. I dont really have any but there are quite a few members on here that do. I'm sure they will post some for you to learn from. What version of Pro-e are you using? My mustang model is also uploaded here somewhere, I dont recommend trying to learn surfacing from that model but its something for you to look at anyway. Ask an admin about it.

hey thnx for replying, im using wildfire 2

and i will ask the admin to forward some surfing tutorials

Dear Rahmanalam,
A very warm welcome to this forum, we are pleased to see you here. Hope we share a symbiotic relationship among ourselves and thats the motto of this group. Regarding you question i would recommend you go to the search section on this forum and type "tutorial" or "car" and i am sure you will be amazed by the amount of examples and helps you will get. There are potentially skilled members in this forums who have taken great efforts to help each other. Hope you find your journey here very intuitive, helpful and of course exciting. Good luck

Welcome to the forum Rahmanalam! I am student at University too but third year.Istarted with modeling in Proengineertwo and half years ago and I was tryingto create something new with myself. Many people are working and learning the capabilities of PROE alone too. So good luck. And here you are two tutorials about AdvancedModeling inWF.zipped to one file.
