Stuck in the Hospital
with my little girl sick with Asthma and found a hotspot. It is now her turn to use the computer. ;)

Anyone mess with the new way to offset curves
in WF2.0?

With this image the curve is offset in the surface as opposed
to

offsetting relative to a plane.

I don

Is the offset command specific to ISDX? The offset option is
greyed out in WF1.0 when I pick a surface edge or datum curve.
Must be a WF2.0 feature.

BTW, sorry to hear your daughter is sick

Hospitals are no fun.

I
highlighted the tangency edge (in WF2.0) and did a
CNTL-C and CNTL-V This copied and pasted a curve right on top of
the
edge. Then I used the offset command under the edit pull
down. 'EDIT' 'OFFSET' I used the default to pull on the

Nice Bart. I was able to repeat with WF1.0 but I had to use the
EDIT -> COPY command from the menu to get the copy. But then
the offset curve maintained the end condition of the copied curve all
along the surface. Pretty sweet.
