Offset Lines

Hello all,

I am having trouble with offset lines in my exploded view.

When I produce a drawing of the exploded view with offset lines the lines appear over the top of any component they are suposed to be passing through the middle of.

Is it possible to make the lines appear so thatthey go through the component?

Thanks

From what I can visualize (in the absence of a pic), try selecting axis for offset line creation. My proe is not running now and hence I am quoting this from memor. Check it out.

From the above pictur you can see that the bolts are obviously below the plate, but the offset lines appear to go over the top.

OK... I simulated a similar assembly. It has more to do with where you pick the axis. It looks like you have picked on the top side of the axis.

Just an observation..... not related to above.
Since you are in UK, you must be following the ISO system of LIMITS and Fits. Your model is set to ANSI.
If you wish to change it to ISO....
Edit >setup>tolsetup>standard> ISO.

I am experiencing the same problem, however, I have noticed that the offset lines display correctly in the exploded view with in the assembly file but when I add the exploded view to the drawing file the offset lines appear to pass in front of the 'parts' of the assembly.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks.
