I have a slot-shaped quilt that I want to offset only the two side walls, while extending the sufaces of the center area (similar to how you would on a solid, like in 2001 using tweak, offset)
The picture shows an offset, but it is all of the surfaces of the quilt, which is not what I want. When I try to offset just one of the side walls, it won't extend the adjacent surfaces and the resulting surface is unattached from the original quilt. If I change it to <expand> it forces me to define a sketch view, which is unecessary in this case.
Is this functionality not available for surfaces yet?
