Options to lock drawing format files

We have drawing format files for our drawings.

These are located in Intralink

Is there an option to prevent "intent to modify" on these objects??

I also do NOT want anyone to change them..

Would setting the folder authorizationto "view only" for all users work for you?

Set the folder permissions so the files are read-only to your users.


Then set your check out options so that files that cannot be modified are read-only.

You could just simply Lock the formats in CS which would allow anyone
to check them out and change them in their WS but not have the
ability to check those changes in to CS.
