Ordinate Dimensions

There are alot of tips for fixing failed ordinate dimensions. Has anyone ever come across this?


I opened a drawing created about 9 yrs ago and am trying to add ordinate dimensions. I select the base ordinate but it won't let me continue, claiming it is not the base. When I try to delete it, itstates- Deleting the base will delete all ordinate dimensions.


If anyone knows of a way to add without adding another base, I would appreciate it.
