outputing many images

Is there a way to create many views (or image outputs) automatically?, say every 10 degree around the vertical axis.

I just wish to make a gif of my model rotating around.

don't think there is a way to automatically save images, but you can make it automatically, you cancreate a mapkey to make the part rotate with 10 degrees around the vertical axis.

tools/ mapkeys/ new.

give it a key sequence, let's say "as" to be next to each other, then hit record, click on the reorient view button, will apear:

View attachment 2920

choose dynamic orient

give a 10 degrees value to vertical, hit OK.

then hit save as button, choose .jpeg from the list, or some other format.

and then hit stop button, to stop recording the mapkey.

Now you are ready to save the images.

hit the "as", and will rotate the part with 10 degrees and will make the save as window appear, give the picture a name. Then repeat the operation until you have enough images.

PS: you don't have to rush things when recording a mapkey, you can take it slow, it's not a movie making

a better way would be to create an animation file (insert your component in an assembly, choose applications ->animation...) and save it as an avi file. Alternatively you can create an animation and save the frames as jpg files.
