Overlap Failure with Merge Features

I am praying someone knows a setting or workaround to my dilemma.

Does anyone know of a way to allow a part to have two merged features that overlap? I need to merge two parts in another part and the geometry needs to overlap.

Does anyone know of a config.pro setting or any other ideas on how to allow this to happen without a failure?

The parts you merge in can overlap without it causing an issue. Are you sure this is not an accuracy problem?

make sure your models are in absolute accuracy and they match each other and see if your are still having problems.

can you upload the part.If you have resorted to praying maybe I or one of us can be the answer to your prayer. Make sure you tell us about what feature # is giving you the problem.

there should be no problem merging two parts, even with overlaps...your problem could be due to different absolute accuracy of parts orduring merging, there is a small edge or small area of parts that proe could not read..in solving this, try to change the absolute accuracy of both parts..
