Hi guys!

I have made a housing with sweept thin protrusion and clean it inside with sweept cut. I was wery satisfy with result, until I have to make a cut:

I could not make a cut in any way. Always was rejected becouse of overlaping geometry.

Have anybody an idea how to solve a problem and make a cut? Or change a spiral so it will not have overlaping reometry?

Here is also a part if anybody would like to try:

Hi i ve seen ur model,
it has intersection problems,u need to make it as a protrusion and do the shell insted of doing thin directly, or u can do it by quilt cut also,
first of all u have to correct the ending portion of the model, it is over lapping there.

the sections in protrusion cant be used for any other thing other than thin protrusion u did.

Well, I solve the problem. I made uother shape with two swept protrusion (and connect them with tangency), so there is no overlaping geometry and then made a sweept cut through all. Then I made central cut and NO PROBLEMS!
hlf71: you made vonderfull piece (I could not did it again, very complicated!). That is what I vant. Thank you!
Thank you all guys, for your sugestions!
