Hi wsylvester,<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />[/B]

thanks for the help,

I tried to add the parameters in relations as link shows (<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">http://www.eng-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=1132[/B]) but the problem is that we will not be able to edit/modify in the parameter in drawing/model directly, we have to edit in relations only. If you double click on the parameter cell in the drawing you can do edit/modify the value if the parameter is not driven by relations. Can you please suggest me any other way to do this task. <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">[/B]

Raghu,

Spoke too soon, it doesn't seem to work like it did in r2001...inWF it doesn't let you edit it even after deleteing the relation... then is now a locked access iocn on it..I'll try with the old inteface and see if it will work

will have to get back to you on that

Raghu,

okay whatseems to work... read in your values into the relations editor

click the execute/verify icon.. far right has a green check mark on it

then delete what you read in from your file.. and click the execute/verify icon again

that will remove the locked icon off the parameter and you can now edit from parameter table or model tree if you make it visible there

hope that works for you

Bill

yeah .. robertlb.. doesn't seem to go unless you execute/verify again

after deleteing..just how many more mouse clicks can they get into WF
