Part Name & material in relations

Hi all,


1.Can any one say how to get the part name/assembly name in relations, so thatI canassign it to some variable as a string.


I tried MODEL_NAME/PART_NAME/FILE_NAME/ASSY_NAME (Eg: ABC=MODEL_NAME)but no result.


2.Another query is How to show the assigned material in the drawing or in parameters. (ofcourse this is after creating the Material properties file). for this I tried Eg: PRT_MATL=mp_material(), but same as above...no result.


Note: I'm using WILDFIRE1.0.

&model_name is already a variable that you can use. There is no need to try to assign it's value to another variable

Thanx Mr.Dell_Boy for ur reply. this variable (&model_name) i use in drawing to show the model file name.


But my requirement is to assign this variable in relations in that model for further needs of my organization.


hope i m clear in my request. Any body pls let me know how to do this n as well the second request.
