No I don't think it is possible. But then why do you need path to file in your drawing? part files and drawing files should be in the same directory, and that directory should be working directory when you work on drawings, parts or assemblies.
What would happen if you move, or rename directory to your files, that wouldn't update in drawing, or if you burn folders to CD.
If you want information which part is in drawing you can addmodel name, in drawing table typing &model_name
